General information

Granberg offers this manufacturer’s warranty to end customers, as a complement to the statutory warranty rights that the end customer has towards the reseller. The warranty does not affect mandatory statutory provisions in the country of sale.

By end customer is meant a natural or legal person (e.g. private individual, school, healthcare institution, or other organization) who has purchased the product with the intention of using it – and not with the intention of reselling it.

First customer refers to the customer who first purchased the product from Granberg.

Scope of the warranty

Granberg guarantees that products marketed under the Granberg brand after 1 October 2025 are free from material, manufacturing, and design defects for:

• Three (3) years from the date of purchase for the first customer. Option to extend to five (5) years.

Assessment of any defects is based on generally recognized technical standards at the time of manufacture.

Granberg will determine whether the product should be repaired, replaced with an equivalent new product, or if the purchase price should be refunded.

Repairs or replacements are carried out by authorized professionals. Replaced products become the property of Granberg. Granberg covers the cost of shipping to and from the end customer.

Labor costs for disassembly/assembly are not included in the warranty, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Please note that the warranty does not cover consequential damages caused by product defects.

Warranty period

The warranty is valid for three (3) years from the date the first customer purchased the product.

The warranty period is not extended in the event of repair or replacement, and it does not restart.

The warranty can be extended to five (5) years if the serial number is registered here:

(Registration must be completed within 6 months from the purchase date)

The extended warranty is subject to the same conditions as the first three years, unless otherwise specified at the time of registration.

Warranty terms

To make a warranty claim, the original invoice or receipt must be presented, containing:

• Date of purchase
• Reseller’s name and address, if applicable
• Place of purchase or installation

The product must be correctly installed, used, cleaned, and maintained in accordance with Granberg’s instructions and applicable laws and technical standards.

Faults must be reported within a reasonable time after discovery and before the warranty period has expired. Faults must be reported no later than two (2) months from the time they were discovered.

Warranty exclusions

The warranty does not apply if:

• The product has not been professionally installed, maintained, or used
• Normal wear and tear or improper handling occurs
• Repairs have been carried out with non-original parts
• Damage has occurred during transport, due to natural disasters, or as a result of external environmental factors
• The product is a display model
• The product has been installed in a country where Granberg does not have a sales partner
• Damage has occurred through the use of incorrect cleaning agents, strong chemicals, or inappropriate tools
• Superficial damage (e.g. scratches, discoloration, glass or plastic parts) that does not affect the product’s function
• Consumable parts (e.g. lamps, batteries, fuses) that normally have a limited lifespan

Statutory rights

This warranty does not affect the statutory rights that the end customer has under the Consumer Sales Act, the Product Liability Act, or agreements with the reseller.

Applicable law

The warranty is governed by Swedish law. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.
Any disputes shall be settled by Swedish courts.
